AI Tech Artist (Generative Workflows & 2D Animation) — Remote (Europe)

We’re looking for an AI-first Tech Artist at Just Slots.

This isn’t a traditional art role.
It’s about building systems that create art.

If you’re already deep into ComfyUI, generative image models, custom workflows, and automation, and you enjoy pushing these tools beyond “prompting” — keep reading.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build ComfyUI pipelines for consistent, production-ready asset generation

• Work with modern generative image models (diffusion-based and beyond) to create characters, symbols, and game assets

• Develop repeatable workflows (ControlNet, LoRAs, upscaling, batching, etc.)

• Turn generated assets into usable, optimized game content

• Animate assets in Spine (or collaborate closely with animation specialists)

• Continuously explore and integrate new AI tools, models, and techniques

• Collaborate with developers to bridge AI pipelines into production

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with ComfyUI (or similar node-based AI tools)

• Strong understanding of the generative image ecosystem (models, LoRAs, ControlNet, etc.)

• Ability to create structured, automated, and reusable workflows — not just one-off outputs

• Interest in automation, pipelines, and tooling

• Basic understanding of 2D animation workflows (Spine is a big plus)

• Proactive, hard-working, and delivery-focused mindset

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, experimental environment

• Clear communicator in English

• We’re open to any level of experience for the right candidate — what matters most is your ability to build, learn fast, and deliver.

Bonus Points

• Experience building or tweaking custom nodes / scripts

• Background in game art or VFX

• Experience with asset pipelines for real-time applications

• Familiarity with Pixi.js or web-based rendering pipelines
