Game Developer (Pixi.js & RGS, Full-Stack) — Remote (Europe)

We’re hiring a Game Developer at Just Slots to build slot games that are genuinely fun to play — and technically solid under the hood.

This is a full-stack role where you’ll own the game end-to-end: from rendering and game loop to backend integration with our internal RGS.

What You’ll Do

• Build slot games using TypeScript and Pixi.js

• Implement game logic, animations, and UI interactions

• Design and manage game state using our custom state machine (FSM)

• Integrate games with our internal RGS (Node.js / TypeScript)

• Own features end-to-end — from game client implementation to RGS integration and release readiness

• Configure and implement game behavior based on math models (RTP, volatility, bonus logic)

• Write automated tests to ensure reliability and correctness

• Optimize for performance, scalability, and smooth gameplay

• Collaborate closely with design, math, and art teams

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with TypeScript (front-end + backend)

• Solid experience with Pixi.js or similar 2D rendering frameworks

• Experience building interactive games or real-time applications

• Strong understanding of state management / state machines

• Experience working with APIs, WebSockets, and game loops

• Understanding of slot games — including RTP, volatility, and game configuration

• Ability to work confidently across frontend and backend (Node.js)

• Experience writing automated tests

• Proactive, hard-working, and delivery-focused mindset

• Clear communicator in English

Bonus Points

• Experience working with RGS systems

• Experience implementing or integrating math models

• Familiarity with animation pipelines (e.g. Spine)

• Strong focus on performance optimization in browser-based games

• Experience in real-money gaming
