QA Automation Engineer — Remote (Europe)

We’re hiring a QA Automation Engineer at Just Slots to help us build reliable, scalable testing systems across our entire game development platform.

This is an automation-first role with broad scope: game clients, backend integrations, internal tools, and production workflows.

You won’t just write tests — you’ll help shape the overall quality strategy and automation architecture.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build automated testing systems for:

  • web-based game clients

  • internal tools

  • backend/RGS integrations

  • production workflows

• Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright

• Build and evolve our QA automation framework and strategy

• Work closely with:

  • developers

  • product

  • QA

  • game teams

• Test systems across:

  • frontend

  • backend

  • APIs

  • WebSockets

• Improve reliability, test coverage, and release confidence

• Contribute to tooling and automation around CI/CD and workflows

• Help identify quality risks early in development

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with Playwright

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and/or JavaScript

• Experience building automated testing frameworks

• Experience testing web-based applications

• Understanding of:

  • E2E testing

  • integration testing

  • automation strategies

• Experience testing:

  • REST APIs

  • WebSockets

  • frontend/backend integrations

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working across multiple domains and systems

• Proactive, hard-working, and delivery-focused mindset

• Clear communicator in English

Bonus Points

• Experience testing games or interactive web applications

• Understanding of slot mechanics, RTP, volatility, or game configuration

• Familiarity with regulatory or compliance testing

• Experience building automation in greenfield environments

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows

• Experience in real-money gaming
